The annual Christmas cash flow squeeze is approaching

Audience > This is for business owners, C-Suite team members & people who advise private business

As December gets closer, many businesses will face the annual stress of juggling competing cash flow needs over the Dec-Jan period.

On one hand, business needs to pay wages and super (payday super !) and ATO obligations irrespective of business activity. On the other hand, customer want your product or service before Christmas or will not resurface until February. At the same time, your own suppliers are chasing payment as they themselves face the same cash flow issues.

It pays to get ahead of it. If you are a business owner or you advise businesses, get in touch to discuss your specific cash challenges and we can solve it before it gets problematic.

As an aside, this annual Christmas cash squeeze is somewhat unique to Australia. In the USA, where most companies have a 31-Dec year end, they have one or two days off work and then straight back into it. Here in Australia, given our financial year end is 30-June, coupled with summer, it becomes a long period of economic slowdown. Good for some, hard for others.
