Interest Rates on Business finance move outside the RBA

While we wait for the next Reserve Bank move on official interest rates, our emails are already running hot with notifications of increased rates being imposed by many non-bank lenders here in Australia. These moves of late have been in the 0.25-0.35% range and they move as a function of market rates across the 3-5yr swap rate. These moves are a sense of what the market sees coming but as a borrower you will feel it as soon as the market decides, not when the RBA actually makes its move.
